Live with Integrity

"If only God can judge us then who are we to be so critical?"

Walk the path of daily practice …

are you living yoga?

Ask yourself,

do you live with integrity?

Are you aware

of your own morals

and life choices

and their rippling effect?

What does morality have to do with yoga ?

This complex system moves far beyond physical postures.

We can use yoga as a tool

to increase awareness of the body, mind and soul.

This tool allows us

to analyze ourselves

physically, mentally and emotionally.

Yes it’s in the stillness

of a dark yoga studio

that we can evaluate

the sensations and thoughts that consume us.

The hope is

with increased awareness

we can make better choices

that will lead us towards

balance, harmony, growth and peace.

But who is to judge

what is right or wrong?

Healing or toxic?

If only God can judge us

then who are we to be so critical?

This part of the journey

is deeply complex.

Especially when

we talk about freedom / empowerment.

The goal is to be authentically YOU

with restraints so not to cause harm.

I have found in my practice that

the line between “good” and “bad” shifts.

Or rather

my morals, values and boundaries become stronger.

Since becoming a yogi,

how have your moral boundaries shifted?

Are you more aware of your actions / choices?

What discovery have you made during your practice?

Peace & Love,

Nik
