We have bigger dates to celebrate but 4/12 will always take me back to the love story that took over my life. That love story started 7 years before we walked down the aisle. Back to when we were two young kids who fell in love at the bar.

Our life is much more complicated now.

We don’t get to stare at the stars late at night or go to the diner in the early mornings for BLTs & disco fries. Instead of getting lost in the woods there are schedules, play dates, potty training and weekend parties.

I know we both wish for a slower life. But there are moments in the chaos that we look at each other and we are those lovey dovey kids again.

12 years ago at the place where it all started...
