"Do the work babe. If you keep putting that sh*t on the back burner , it’s going to have a ripple effect on your entire life."

Winter Solstice
The slowest day of the year.
The darkest day of year.
The reminder of our long journey HOME.
Things feel more difficult right now. We lack motivation, we put our loved ones first and our personal self practice typically gets lost in the laundry list of “to-dos”. Countless gifts. Family get-togethers. Large meals. Decorating. Baking. So much sugar. Celebrating. Partying. Drinking. Dealing. Cold weather. Holiday drama. Let’s add in the societal bull. I think I speak for everyone when I say our systems are on hyper-drive.
Have you been feeling sluggish and making excuses? (Blame it on the sugar or alcohol) It’s the dark hunnie. And it creeps up on us every year. This is the challenge. To preserver and grow. Take a hint from nature.
With cold comes death of all the things.
Both large and microscopic; subtle and forthright.
We need to prepare. We need to go deep.
In the dark we have to search for the light.
Do the work babe. If you keep putting that sh*t on the back burner , it’s going to have a ripple effect on your entire life. The things that we don’t like, the things that are hard , the things that we dread , are usually the things we need the MOST.
No one is going to do the work for you.
No one is going to do YOUR work for you.
There are ten days left in 2021.
Make them count. Make them worth it.
Remember your magic.
Peace & Love,
Nik
