when the rest of us battle mundane existence without space for exploration?


Choosing yoga as a lifestyle

is not all rainbows and butterflies.

Many believe that yoga is simply an act of exercise

only achieved by those who are flexible or passive.

As the years go by and there is change within my own life and lifestyle,

the practice of yoga runs much deeper than body shapes and displays of strength.

Mentally yoga has helped me

with my own struggles with anxiety, depression, isolation and insomnia.


Yes,

even this master yogi continues to do the work

as it presents itself.

How can one practice yoga

every moment of everyday?

I think the first step

in weaving this practice into life

is considering the root/purpose of yoga.


Yoga is a tool for self-regulation and self-discovery.
